Entry Formalities

Due to the restricted and protected nature of the entire periphery of Jim Corbett National Park, official permission is mandatory to access the core tiger territory. The government issues two types of official permits for entering any safari zone within the park: the Day Visit Permit for jeep/canter safaris and Permits for Night Stay at government forest lodges. Both Indian nationals and foreigners must obtain Day Visit Permits to enter any tourism zone in Corbett National Park.

For accommodation within the park, visitors must acquire Night Stay Permits from the designated government authorities. These permits allow bookings for a minimum of one night and a maximum of three nights.
